The Canada 55+ Games will not only include 23 medal sport and recreation events, the entire week will include a variety of dining, entertaiment and special event opportunities including:

• Tall Ships Landing Opening Ceremonies featuring a parade of athletes
• BOOST Health Zone @ the Athelets' Village featuring health screening and education
• Nightly entertainment at Athletes' Village (St. Lawrence College) 
• Boat Cruises
• CDIC "Active Living Day" - Canada's largest one-day celebration of healthy, active living
• Closing Ceremonies presented by Hands Fireworks
